Demeyere makes some of the absolute finest stainless steel cookware.  They are the only cookware manufacturer that designs their cookware for the specific task. For example, skillets are used at higher temperatures than sauce pans. So, they are built differently than sauce pans. The differences in manufacturing include the amount of clad layers, whether the inner layers go up the side walls, and the type of material used in the layers.
