The Pyrex Grip-Rite glassware products feature brightly colored strips of silicone bonded onto the handles of baking dishes for easier gripping, and silicone strips on the bottoms of the measuring cups. These silicone strips allow for less slippage, less spills, and easier handling of the glassware in general. In spite of the utility the look is contemporary and fun. The Grip-Rite glassware is available in the following sizes: 9x13 rectangular baking dishes, a 9 inch pie pan, an 8 inch square baking dish, and a 2 and 4 cup measuring cup with and without a lid, as well as a 2.5 quart Teardrop bowl. Several sets are also available, and they include both bakeware and prepware.
Seventy-five percent of Americans have Pyrex glass products in their kitchens. As of 1915, all Pyrex glass products have been made at the Pyrex plant in Charleroi, Pennsylvania. Since the company's inception they've added many styles and product lines to their repertoire but items that don't stain, and have the ability to go from freezer and refrigerator to microwave or oven have remained paramount to their brand.

Another says “This is one of the basic kitchen elements. This is the official brownie and small casserole pan. If you don't believe in cast iron for cornbread, this is the next best thing. It is so handy and almost indestructible. It is your oven's best friend. Cleans up easy, if you butter the dish before adding your ingredients. It's also dishwasher safe.”
