Le Creuset has been making one of a kind, cast iron cookware since 1925. The company sells Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron in 10 different categories. There are round ovens, oval ovens and soup pots, buffet casseroles and saucepans, skillets, grill pans, roasters and specialty items, and a garden collection. The 5 piece set includes a 1 1/4 quart saucepan with lid, a 3 1/2 quart round French oven with lid, and a 9 inch iron-handle skillet. The six piece set is available in two less colors, excluding kiwi and chestnut. It has a 2 1/4 quart saucier pan with lid, a 5 1/2 quart round French oven, a square skillet and a roaster. With the six piece set you will have all that you need for simmering, braising, and grilling in cast iron.

Le Creuset cast iron cookware has phenolic knobs and handles for easy lifting and gripping; it is oven safe to 375 degrees, and the colorful presentation is designed to go straight from oven-to-table. Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron is dishwasher safe, but handwashing is recommended.
Amazon reviewers rate most of this cookware at 4 to 5 stars. “I bought my red, 7-1/4-quart round Dutch/French oven in the early 1990s, cooked hundreds of meals in it and it still looks as good as the day I got it.
