KitchenAid Hi Density Hard Anodized Clad PDF Print E-mail
Written by Mark Jala
The KitchenAid Hi Density Hard Anodized Clad Cookware is the newest line of cookware for home use. The hi-density, hard anodized aluminum line has a high-gloss, marble-like finish. This surface resists stains, scratches and cuts while maintaining its attractive appearance designed to look stunning in any kitchen, contemporary or traditional. The KitchenAid Hi Density Hard Anodized cookware material provides even and thorough thermo conductivity throughout the entire pan, rather than just the bottom for a perfect cooking surface that will not have hotspots. The interior has a DuPont Autograph nonstick coating, the most advanced three coat nonstick created by DuPont. Fat free cooking and easy clean up are key benefits of the nonstick surface.

The cast stainless steel handles are ergonomic for natural wrist position and a great degree of comfort during long cooking sessions. They are riveted safely to the body of the vessels and are polished multiple times to give them a lustrous appearance. The 18/10 stainless steel lids are designed to fit deeply in the cookware, and are highly polished as well.

KitchenAid's hi density hard anodized clad nonstick cookware is oven safe to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. It is recommended that you hand wash the cookware. It is NOT dishwasher safe. The KitchenAid Hi Density Hard Anodized Clad cookware cannot be used on induction stoves.

KitchenAid became a name in 1919 when the company introduced the first electrically driven device for grinding food from coffee beans, to peanuts.  Since then the company has expanded its presence into the kitchen.  They began focusing on high quality goods after being acquired by Whirlpool in the 1980's. Quality cookware, bakeware, and accessories are now just as important to the KitchenAid name as any other part of their brand.

KitchenAidHardAnodizedSet.jpgEpinions reviewers give this line five out of five stars. One reviewer writes, "I'm here to tell you that this is by far the best cookware purchase I've ever made. The anodized finish is unusually reflective and smooth.  It appears like dark gray enamel or extremely hard porcelain. Handles, beautifully balanced and distinctly sculptured, they are not flat as the pictures seem to indicate."

Another reviewer writes, "The pan and pots have the capability of heating up to 500 degrees so they have a wide variety and you can cook virtually anything.  The pans have rounded edges that are easy to cook with and a loop handle that is very easy to grip.  All in all these pans are extremely useful, have an easy clean up and are very attractive."
