The Farberware Select Nonstick Colors line has Dupont Platinum nonstick surfaces for easy clean up, nonreaction to food, quick food release, resistance to scratches, and resistance to corrosion. The lids are see through glass to permit you to monitor food as it cooks. The stainless steel and silicone handles are riveted to the pan for slip free comfort during long cooking sessions, and durability. The Farberware Select Nonstick Colors line is available in a 10 piece set, a twin skillet set, or the 3 ½ quart covered saucepan can be bought as a separate. The 10 piece set includes a 1 and 2 quart covered saucepan, a six quart covered stock pot, 7, 10 and 11 inch open skillets, and a 9 X 13 inch cookie pan. Available colors include red, blue, and black.
Farberware Select Nonstick Colors are oven safe to 350 degrees, should be hand washed in warm water, and have a limited lifetime warranty. Farberware has been in the cookware industry for over 100 years. The company started with tinsmith S.W. Farber's banging out of pots and pans for appreciative customers on the Lower East Side of Manhattan in 1900. Soon he expanded into silver-plated, nickel-plated, and chrome plated gift sets and accessories. Various innovations have marked the company's long history. Farber began creating new, experimental devices in the 1930's like the “Coffee Robot” that kept coffee hot for hours after brewing. In 1954 he introduced an aluminum clad stainless steel electric fry pan too. Farberware has been creating product lines with important innovations and affordable prices ever since.

One typical five star reviewer of the Farberware emphasized value for price, “These really are middle quality pans for dollar store prices. I was thrilled with the quality when I received them and they are holding up well through proper use. As with any nonstick, be sure to use silicone spatulas and promptly clean them by hand after each use. If grease is left to sit it can ruin your nonstick surface. House guests are amazed and want a set for themselves. Definitely a great gift also.”
