Farberware Chroma cookware has attractive, porcelain exteriors made to complement kitchens whether they are contemporary or traditional. With aluminum construction, each pan evenly distributes heat for good cooking performance. The Dupont nonstick interior is non-corrosive, scratch and cut resistant, and allows cooks easy clean up and fat free cooking. The silicone handles are riveted to the pan for durability, and their colors are made to match the exteriors of the cookware. Lids are see-through glass so that when cooking you can observe cooking progress easily. The good fit keeps in moisture and flavor. Farberware Chroma cookware comes in two colors, red and black. It can be purchased as a 12 piece set, twin pack or separate. The 12 piece set includes a 1, 1 1/2 and 2 quart covered saucepan, 6 quart covered stockpot, 8 and 10 inch open skillet, a slotted turner and a slotted spoon. The twin pack includes 8 and 10 inch open skillets. The separates are an 11 inch square griddle, a 10 inch covered saute, and a 12 inch open skillet.
This set of cookware is oven safe to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. It has a limited lifetime warranty. It is NOT dishwasher safe. Farberware has been a name in cookware for innovation, affordable prices, and great quality since its founding. Farberware started with tinsmith S.W. Farber pounding out pots and pans for customers in Manhattan 's Lower East Side in 1900. It was not long before Farber began expanding his name and his repertoire to include nickel-plated, silver-plated and chrome-plated gift sets and accessories.

A one star reviewer of the 2 3/4 covered saute did say that the nonstick surface and exterior were both presenting problems. “I bought this for someone as a Christmas gift and it has turned out to be a horrible pan. The outside has been discolored and it emits an awful smell when used. I would NOT recommend it.” A five star reviewer disagreed, “I bought this because of the design. It holds more and the rounded sides make it easier to stir or turn food. The clear glass lid is a definite plus.”
