Farberware Accents nonstick cookware makes a bold statement with striking colors, durable performance, and even heat distribution via aluminum construction. The handles are 18/10 stainless steel with silicone thumb rests; they are riveted securely to the cookware. The see-through, glass lids allow you to monitor your food as it cooks, while sealing in flavor and nutrients. Some pieces have straining, skirted lids. The nonstick surface allows for fat free cooking and easy cleanup. Farberware Accents nonstick cookware is available as a ten piece set, as a skillet set, or the 4 quart jumbo cooker can be purchased separately. The ten piece set includes a 1, 1 1/2 and 2 quart covered straining saucepan, 5 quart Dutch oven, and 7 and 10 inch open French skillets. Available colors: red, blue, silver.
Farberware Accents nonstick cookware is oven safe to 350 degrees and is dishwasher safe as well.

Another had the same issue, but still gave the set four stars, “I've had this set for a year and a half now and I think they are great, especially for the price. (But I got them on sale for half off!) Absolutely nothing sticks to the nonstick interiors and the surface coating has been very durable, no scratches or chips. My only problem is that the color darkened on the pieces I have tended to use more often.”

Farberware has been a name in cookware for innovation, savings, and good quality for over one hundred years. The company started on the Lower East Side of Manhattan where S.W. Farber pounded out pots and pans for customers. It was not long before he expanded into silver-plated, nickel-plated and chrome plated gift sets and accessories.
Some Amazon reviewers have found flaws with Farberware Accents; it receives 3 to 4 ½ stars overall though. Some find the exterior hard to clean, and say that it can discolor. One reviewer puts it like this; “My husband and I received this set for Christmas from my mother-in-law. We loved them! She got us the silver colored set that matched everything in out kitchen. We use them everyday and LOVED cooking on them for 6 months now. A couple days ago I was making broccoli and the Teflon came off onto my broccoli and the silver turned to a brownish color. Nothing I do washes the color out. It looks awful!”
