CorningWare Scandia White is porcelain bakeware that can be purchased in a 5 piece set, or separately as a 2 or 1 quart oval baker, 1 quart oval casserole, 2 or 1 quart oval bowl, or 5 oz. ramekins. Items can be purchased directly at the manufacturer's website or numerous department stores on line and on-site. CorningWare Scandia White porcelain is designed to be your bakeware and serveware; it goes from oven-to-table with a presentation characterized by culinary grade, durable white porcelain with delicate fluted details inspired by the simplicity and ineffable beauty of nature.
The double glazed, exceptionally hard-wearing porcelain is made to be an ideal conductor of heat. It is light, but very sturdy. Scandia White is designed to heat food evenly and thoroughly so that your baked foods will be browned to perfection, and will look beautiful at your table in this serveware. This product line cannot be used under a broiler, toaster oven or under or near any direct heating source including an open flame. It should not be used in your microwave with nothing in it or to heat popcorn. Handle CorningWare Scandia White with a potholder when it's hot. Clean this bakeware with nonabrasive soap by hand or in your dishwasher. Make sure that the individual pieces do not touch one another in order to prevent cracking, and avoid allowing the bakeware to go from extremes of temperature too quickly as that can cause similar damage. This line is especially versatile, like most CorningWare. CorningWare Scandia White is oven, microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe and has a 5 year limited warranty.
