CorningWare Creations is stoneware bakeware sold in eight bold colors: white diamond, khaki, emerald, denim, amethyst, sapphire, ruby and onyx. The product line comes in vessel shapes from casseroles to ramekins. It can be bought in separates, or some colors (ruby, amethyst and sapphire) can be purchased in a 4 piece set that includes a 1 1/2 quart casserole with lid and a 2 1/2 quart round casserole with lid. Ever since the 1990's CorningWare bakeware has been made of non-porous stoneware instead of glass-ceramic to put the emphasis on the newer types of cooking available (microwave, induction, etc.) and to allow for a greater variety of styles and colors.
Some colors like denim and khaki do not offer complete sets, and in fact only offer a few pieces but they can be added in to a fuller collection to enliven your bakeware. The CorningWare Creations colors are dramatic; the shapes are contemporary and sleek, and the line is meant to go straight from your oven to your table. The durable stoneware design is non-porous to resist absorption of food, flavors, and discoloration. The vessels have large, open handles for easy and safe handling but be sure to use pot holders when hot.

Of the Corningware Creations ruby 2 quart oval covered casserole one says it works well for a variety of events and occasions, "I saw a few of the pieces of Corningware Creations on Amazon and bought a few to start with. I am a thrifty girl, so twenty bucks for a dish seemed a little extravagant, but in the end, it is twenty bucks well spent."
