Calphalon One Nonstick cookware is made of anodized aluminum and has an interior surface that includes an interlocking matrix of four nonstick layers meant to allow for low and nonfat cooking. Calphalon One Nonstick cookware is sold in sets of 10 and 8, while basics (fry pans, sauce pans, sauce pans, and saute pans) and "specialty items" which range from everyday pans to square griddles can be bought separately.
The exterior is infused with an advanced polymer that is helps prevent staining. It's oven safe to 500 degrees; Calphalon One Nonstick cookware is NOT dishwasher safe.

Another reviewer many find helpful gives it one star out of five and calls the set "overblown and overrated." The reviewer writes, "Here's the bottom line: We used them according to the manufacturer's instructions and 14 months later, they are falling apart. The Anodized Nonstick surface is flaking off and food sticks to what's left almost every time. You might be thinking that we probably used a Brillo pad on them, let them soak overnight or put them in the dishwasher (all of these are no-nos), but we didn't. And honestly, the nonstick surface was a mediocre performer from day one. And who wants a set that you can't load up in the dishwasher anyway? And no soaking? Are you serious? Afraid so. "This is NOT a lifetime set. Maybe, MAYBE, it would be worth the price tag if it lasted 10 years, but it won't. The regular ol' Teflon stuff is just as durable as the Calphalon Anodized One set, does better in the no-stick category, is workable in the dishwasher and oh yeah, it isn't $500+. If you are determined to go with Calphalon, I would get the regular steel/ chrome set."
