Anolon Advanced cookware offers 12, 10 and 8 piece sets and many separates which feature heavy-gauge, hard anodized aluminum for quick and even heating. The 18/10 stainless steel handles are covered with silicone-this "SureGrip" design provides cooks a slip-free hold. Tempered, crack resistant glass lids turn to lock in steam. The DuPont Autograph 2 interior and exterior nonstick surface treatment is designed to make for stick-free cooking and easy clean up with less need for added saturated fats or cooking oils.
This line is safe in the oven up to 400 degrees, but is not dishwasher safe. It has a limited lifetime warranty.

The Anolon Advanced 3 1/2 quart covered straining saucepan gets 4 1/2 stars. Most people find it heavy when filled with water and perhaps too heavy for the elderly, handicapped or infirm, but overall, cooks like the saucepan and particularly the ability to strain it with the cover on. A reviewer writes, "I wasn't sure I'd like this pot all that much, but now I don't think I can live without it. Being deep, it's perfect for boiling pasta for two, and by using the lid to drain, you can add all the rest of the ingredients and toss it right in the pot, then serve. Yet when the lid is set not to drain, it is heavy and tight enough you can use it to steam cook rice as well. The silicone handles on the pot and lid are a very nice touch." Overall, most customers agree it's a heavy, durable product line and rated it highly.

The Anolon Advanced product line typically gets between 4 1/2 to 5 star ratings on Amazon. The 8 piece set is particularly popular. One experienced cook finds a variety of reasons to be happy with the set, "I've cooked with all kinds of cookware in my 60+ life and by far this is the BEST I've ever used. I love the clean up factor and the sturdiness of the product. It's like our "grandmas" cast iron skillets - only better. However, and I still rate this with 5 stars, IF you have arthritis or any hand condition which effects your ability to lift heavy items this is not for you. But for all those younger cooks just starting out - don't bother with anything else. And for those of us that have cooked for years - you'll love this product."
