All Clad's LTD cookware offers 25 different styles of cookware with a 3 ply bonded design. The brushed 18/10 stainless steel interiors are metal utensil safe and do not react to foods. The deep black hard anodized aluminum exterior produces the characteristic look of this line.The line is not dishwasher safe, but the manufacturer promises that it is easy to clean which many users find to be true.

Many reviewers find the fact that the pan lives up to the nonstick claim, and therefore the fact that it's not dishwasher safe was widely seen to be easily handled. One reviewer noted, "This pan is not dishwasher safe due to the nonstick surface, but don't worry it is a breeze to clean."
So far, the All Clad LTD 8 piece cookware set has 4 ½ out of 5 stars, reviewers tend to find it easy to clean, not all reviewers believe that the outside is easy to keep looking presentable over a long period of time. One long time user put it like this, "I've had All Clad LTD pans for a number of years now. I usually cook several times a day almost everyday & although these pans cook beautifully and the interior looks beautiful & cleans up easily, the anodized exterior looks terrible now. If you don't mind so much what your pots look like then these would probably be a great choice. If anyone knows any great secrets to keeping these looking great, please post them in the discussion area. I've contacted All-Clad several times and do exactly as they say without achieving any desired results."

For cleaning the outside of the LTD anodized surface I would recommend the Calpholon cleaner made specifically for that surface. I have both brands of cookware and have used the cleaner on my pots with great results even after several years of use before using it. It is pricey but does the job well. Most places that sell Calpholon will have it. I get mine at Bed Bath & Beyond.

One of the more popular items in the line, the All Clad LTD 12-inch round nonstick grille pan gets five out of five stars with Amazon's reviewers. The review considered the most helpful of all included the following: "I am not a big fan of the All Clad LTD line but I do love this pan. I much prefer the All Clad polished stainless steel line (I have almost every piece and love it). This grill is a perfect size for grilling for 1-4 people. I often marinade chicken tenders in Emeril Lagasse's marinade (he has several different marinades that you can find in your local supermarket) a day in advance and heat up this pan and toss on the chicken. I usually make a veggie or two and some rice, it is a very quick and easy dinner and is also very healthy! You can also use this pan for everything from burgers to a tuna steak."
